Restorative Counselling: Culturally Grounded, Trauma-Informed Care That Feels Different

At Restorative Counselling, we provide holistic and culturally enriched counselling services for individuals seeking healing, balance, and connection. Whether you're navigating trauma, transitions, or simply looking for support that aligns with your values, you are welcome here.

🌿 Walk Therapy: Reconnect with Nature & Self Not all healing needs to happen indoors. Our Walk Therapy sessions offer a unique alternative for those who prefer to meet in natural environments like beaches, trails, or community spaces around Nanaimo. This approach allows clients to engage in meaningful therapeutic conversations while immersed in the grounding beauty of the outdoors.

A Decolonizing Approach to Mental Health
We recognize that conventional, medicalized mental health care doesn’t work for everyone.
That’s why Restorative Counselling was created — in partnership with Restorative Justice of the Sunshine Coast — as a ReconciliACTION initiative.
Our approach blends:
  • Evidence-based clinical practices
  • Cultural and spiritual teachings
  • Relational, strength-based care
  • Client-led healing frameworks
We offer support that centers the wisdom of lived experience, the sacredness of the land, and the agency of the individual in defining their own path to wellness.
